W.A.S.H. is focused on sustainable development. We do this by (1) providing clean water supplies, waste management systems and education by constructing or expanding potable water systems and latrines, organizing and training water committees and plumbers, and to educate community groups on sanitation, health and the environment.
W.A.S.H also (2) expands health education and access to health resources through giving educational seminars, building home gardens and cleaner stoves, expanding access to HIV/AIDS prevention tools and by promoting a health lifestyle.
