Hot Sun Foundation

Hot Sun Foundation is a community based organizationnthat works with youth of East Africa towards social transformation through media and art.

We teach youth how to make films and use video advocacy tools towards telling their own stories.

We have three programs:

1. Kibera Film School: a five month, full time, hands-on intensive course in all aspects of filmmaking, from script, camera, production, editing, distribution

2.Hot Sun Productions: provides affordable, quaity video services and distributes short films by Kibera Film School and Kibera TV.

3. Kibera TV : a citizen journalism online video channel that reports on stories from Kibera that do not make it to the mainstream media. It currently broadcasts on Youtube - Http:youtube.com/kiberatv.
