Fostering Change for Children

At Fostering Change for Children, our mission is to innovate and promote positive change within the child welfare system. With a focus on children, families, and the individuals who work with them, we aim to inspire new and different ways of thinking and working that will influence transformation.

Our three-pronged approach to systemic change within the child welfare system allows us to creatively and holistically make a greater impact and improve the lives of children and families. Based in New York City, Fostering Change for Children currently operates 3 programs: a unique mentoring program called Adoptment, a series of specialized trainings and consultations, and our signature program called Children’s Corps. Each of these programs is dedicated to ensuring that children and youth in care are placed with permanent families who will care for and nurture them. We strongly believe that collaboration, proper training, and support are key factors in achieving outcomes for children and families.
