Misión
Oasis is a place for the non-religious to come together to celebrate the human experience. We understand that vibrant communities are central to human happiness and well-being. That’s why we need Oasis: to provide a place for like-minded individuals and families to connect, be inspired and feel empowered. Every Sunday morning, we offer you the chance to get together to discuss real-world principles supported by evidence and free thought. We also provide a place where your children can explore their developing world views, ask questions and make friends in an environment that’s supportive of critical thinking. Our Core Values define our community and help shape our interactions with each other, society, and the world: 1. People are more important than beliefs, 2. Reality is known through reason, 3. Meaning comes from making a difference, 4. Human hands solve human problems, 5. Be accepting and be accepted
Acerca de
North Orlando Oasis is a chapter of the Oasis Network, and aims to connect individuals and families of the North Orlando area who have humanist values, providing thought-provoking, enlightening, entertaining, and meaningful experiences, both in-person and online. We are building our community to host weekly gatherings, volunteer opportunities, educational events, and more to connect people and give back to our community in meaningful ways.
