The National Community Stabilization Trust ("NCST") supports families and communities by restoring distressed single-family homes, strengthening neighborhoods, and increasing sustainable, affordable homeownership and responsible rental through innovative real estate programs, research, coalition work, and policy advocacy.
Founded in 2008, over the last twelve years, NCST has worked with more than 1,000 local community partners to put 27,000 single-family homes back to productive use as affordable homeownership or responsible rental. Today, NCST has expanded its focus well beyond the transactional platform to include technical assistance to local community partners, develop capital sources for single-family rehab, and federal policy research and advocacy grounded in knowledge of local markets.
