The Clara Cantrell Clemmons Assistance Center, Inc.

The Clara Cantrell Clemmons Assistance Center is a New York City, non-profit community-based organization. We are dedicated to serving the African-American community in general, with a special focus on African-American women in particular. We assit them to ensure their well-being, educational, social advancement and emotional health by providing various services and programs, such as: a women's support group, career & life development workshops, food and clothing bank, information and referral services, computer training, literacy classes, adult reading and writing classes, black history programs, women's history programs, ecumenical services(such as church administrtion,clergy assistance, conference and symposium planning, Bible school administration and literary projects), women's health project, library and resource center, counseling, spiritual enrichment, advocacy and entrepreneurship.
