At Little Cell of Mine Foundation, we support sickle cell warriors and their families by providing help in physical, emotional, and community areas. We believe that no one should face sickle cell disease alone. Through awareness, early diagnosis, advocacy, and practical support, we aim to change lives and create a stronger, more resilient community of warriors. Together, we embrace hope, encourage wellness, and celebrate every step toward health and dignity.

    Acerca de

Little Cell of Mine Foundation (LCOM) is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals living with sickle cell disorder through education, advocacy, support, and empowerment. Founded in November 2019 by Dr. Ivie, the foundation was created out of a strong desire to bring hope, awareness, and practical help to warriors and their families facing the daily challenges of sickle cell disease.

At Little Cell of Mine, we believe that every warrior deserves a fulfilling, healthy, and dignified life. Our initiatives focus on raising awareness, promoting early diagnosis and education about genotypes, and providing emotional, medical, and social support through community outreach, school awareness campaigns, wellness programs, and partnerships with healthcare professionals.

We serve a diverse group of individuals living with sickle cell disease (whom we affectionately call warriors), along with their families, caregivers, and the general public. Through both online and in-person efforts, we aim to reduce stigma, promote inclusion, and strengthen support systems for warriors across Nigeria.

Our work follows four main values:

Compassion: We approach every warrior’s journey with empathy, care, and understanding.

Advocacy: We use our voice and platforms to drive policy change and increase public awareness.

Community: We believe in the strength of collective support to heal, uplift, and inspire.

Empowerment: We provide tools, knowledge, and opportunities that help warriors live fuller, more independent lives.

Every project, whether it’s a hospital visit, school outreach, wellness week, or creative fundraising event, is designed to connect awareness with action, creating a ripple effect of hope and positive change.

At Little Cell of Mine Foundation, we’re not just raising awareness; we’re building a community of strength, love, and resilience.
