Prevention Institute

Prevention Institute, a national non-profit organization, was established in 1997 to reduce illness and injury and improve the health and well-being of communities through primary prevention. It receives funding from a variety of governement and foundation sources. In a brief time, the Institute has received recognition as a leader in strategy development and interdisciplinary and intergovernmental collaboration for comprehensive prevention initiatives which promote systems change.
