Skillful Steps, established as a 501(c)(3) in 2024, is a Houston-based nonprofit committed to reducing recidivism and increasing economic mobility through life-skills education, workforce development, and mentorship. Building on years of CDL training outcomes through our for-profit training arm, we are preparing to launch nonprofit programming in 2026 to expand access for a 200+ person local waitlist via a tech-enabled career and training portal, employer partnerships, and transparent progress tracking.”
