Center for Independent Futures (CIF), a 501(c)(3) Evanston, IL-based nonprofit organization, works alongside individuals with disabilities to support them in living as independently as possible.
What We Do:
Person-Centered Coaching and Education - Through coaching and experiential learning, we work alongside individuals with disabilities using a straightforward, person-centered approach to support them in living full and independent lives.
Community-Based Supported Housing - We address one of the most important and least satisfied needs of people with disabilities: affordable, safe, and inclusive housing in their community, near family, loved ones, and friends, with access to transportation, jobs, shopping, services, and entertainment.
Inclusive Community Building - We encourage people with different gifts and talents to band together, reach out for mutual support, form communities, and create the conditions for all to thrive.
