Samaritan Center of Excellence

Samaritan Center of Excellence is a volunteer non-profit, tax-exempt organization that provides physical, mental, and emotional health programs for women, youth (ages 8-16 years old), and families within the Monroe County area. This organization grew out of a grassroots effort in 2004 to meet the needs of women and their children. Our mission is to transform individuals by providing skill-building opportunities, fostering consumer/peer-run programs; specifically, in areas of recovery and emphasizing self-help, and mutual support. We are committed to improving the delivery of services to those with substance use disorder, mental health, and criminal justice issues to reduce the stigma associated with them.
