A Place for Peanut was founded January 2016 and is a non profit horse sanctuary. Most of our rescues are miniature horses, although we rescue other breeds, as well. Our mission is to educate the public and bring joy to children, veterans in hospitals, and others in special programs using equine therapy with our horses saved from the slaughter pipeline.
