Citizen Action of New York

Citizen Action of New York is a powerful grassroots membership organization working for social, economic, racial and environmental justice. We work at the grassroots level in communities to build progressive coalitions that empower people to achieve concrete improvements in their own lives. Currently we are focused on education, after-school programs, universal healthcare and prescription drug benefits, and campaign finance reform. We have regional offices in Albany, Buffalo, Binghamton, Syracuse, Manhattan and Long Island.
