The mission of Second Chance Educational Alliance is to provide high quality, academic, postsecondary level opportunities to incarcerated individuals and educational consulting services to formerly incarcerated individuals.

Acerca de
Second Chance is an up and coming nonprofit organization based in Hartford, CT that serves students and families who are justice involved. Currently we run postsecondary level, not for credit, academic opportunities for incarcerated learners inside two facilities in the northern part of the state. Our organization was founded by two people of color, both with advanced degrees, one of whom is an ex-offender. Our goal is to make sure that all educational questions and needs of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated learners can be met through our organization.
