Misión
GLAM is for Middle School girls who are interested in math. GLAM is designed to teach young girls exciting, challenging (age appropriate) math that goes beyond their core curriculums. It is an all female program with the goal of empowering young girls to feel confident and strong about their math abilities.
Acerca de
GLAM is an all-female non-profit 501(c)3 after school program with the goal of empowering young girls to feel confident and strong about their math abilities and to ensure that there are more girls in STEM. Our volunteer instructors meet once a week with middle school girls to do fun, challenging math as well as act as mentors and role models for these young girls. It is a great opportunity for any female student interested in STEM or teaching and looking to give back to the community. We have run successfully in NYC for 7 years, and have expanded into other cities such as New Haven, Boston, and Palo Alto and more soon.
