There is too much suffering in our world. Every year hundreds of thousands of victims are forced to flee their homes. Every day poverty prevents hundreds of millions of people worldwide from meeting basic needs. Every 3.6 seconds someone dies from hunger. God longs for the broadest, most diverse social network on the planet — the Church — to rise up like never before to engage in the great causes of our time. To feed the hungry. To heal the sick. To stand for the vulnerable. To meet the needs of our neighbors as Jesus did. God is calling individuals, communities and the Church to champion the cause of the poor. At World Relief, our calling is to stand with the Church to serve the most vulnerable.
