Massachusetts Society for Medical Research

MSMR promotes and enhances biomedical and biological research, including the humane care and use of animals, for the improved health and well-being of people, animals, and the environment.

Founded in 1953, MSMR is the oldest regional organization in the country supporting biomedical research professionals. Our members include colleges, universities, hospitals, research institutes, biotech and biomedical research firms, pharmaceutical firms, independent foundations and other organizations performing or supporting biomedical research.
