SCORE Iowa

SCORE Iowa is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and small business owners start, strengthen and grow successful businesses. As part of SCORE, a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration, we provide free, confidential business mentoring along with workshops, educational programs and practical resources.

Our volunteer mentors bring experience from business ownership, management, finance, marketing, sales, technology, operations and many other fields. We believe that experience has value when it is shared, and our volunteers use what they have learned throughout their careers to help others move forward.

SCORE Iowa serves entrepreneurs and small business owners throughout Iowa, from rural communities and small towns to the state’s larger metropolitan areas. We work with people at every stage—from someone exploring a first business idea to established owners facing challenges, planning for growth or preparing for the future.

At the heart of SCORE Iowa is a simple idea: successful business people helping the next generation of business owners succeed. By volunteering their knowledge and experience, our mentors strengthen individual businesses, local economies and communities across Iowa.
