The mission at Lighthouse Education Center is to educate and empower those with vision loss so they may enjoy happy, healthy and independent lives. Our vision is to transform our community so those with vision loss have the opportunity to participate, contribute and rise to their fullest potential. We operate in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, DeSoto and Highlands counties serving babies through seniors that are blind or visually impaired at no-cost.
