Illinois Partners for Human Service

Illinois Partners for Human Service is a statewide coalition of more than 800 human service organizations. Our members come from every legislative district in the state, and represent a wide variety of human services.

Illinois Partners is not a direct service provider; rather, we work to strengthen the entire human service sector. Our members provide services as diverse as community mental health treatment, supportive housing, programs for persons with developmental disabilities, and programs for victims of domestic violence.

Our mission is to create a stronger and more stable human services system in the state of Illinois. In pursuit of that mission, we work to ensure quality services, adequate funding, and measurable results by:

• Serving as a single voice of human services providers to educate and inform policy stakeholders about human service issues;
• Facilitating collaboration between providers to create greater efficiency and produce winning solutions for delivery of services;
• Building capacity through engaging the community through our extensive information network, and ensuring they have the resources and knowledge to make informed decisions; and
• Ensuring members have a seat at the table when decisions are being made that affect their well-being.
