Rising Circle is a collective of artists of color that cultivates, affirms, and empowers the talents that exist within our respective communities. To accomplish this goal, we create a space that enables actors, playwrights, and directors of color to hone their crafts by: workshopping and producing original plays, scenes, and monologues by writers of color and revisiting published works by emerging and established writers from around the world. Rising Circle provides a networking vehicle for actors, playwrights, and directors of color, and serves as a resource for directors and casting agencies who are looking for diverse talent.
