Oportunidades NOLA aims to support Latinos living in the New Orleans area in their efforts to integrate and engage in a constructive way with the greater community. We are committed to education as a vehicle for promoting social justice, empowering the disadvantaged and realizing the fullness of human potential.

We seek to develop viable skills and competencies, promote healthy lifestyles, and ensure that all individuals have the opportunities they need to succeed in this community, regardless of background, language or national origin.

Our educational programs include English as a Second Language classes, Adult Basic Education (including literacy, primary and secondary level academics) in Spanish, computer skills training, beginning Spanish as a Second Language classes and Health and Wellness workshops on a wide variety of topics.
