About Caritas Christi: Established in 1985, Caritas Christi Health Care (CCHC), is the second largest health care system in New England, employs 12,000+ and serves more than 1 million patients annually. The system is a $1 billion comprehensive, integrated health care delivery network consisting of six hospitals, a 400-physician group practice, health sciences college, clinical laboratory network, community-based human service agency for women and children, and centers for hospice and home care. Caritas Christi’s six geographically diverse acute care hospitals provide community-based medicine and tertiary care to patients throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
