At LVBC, we believe that everyone should be able to read. Imagine the hardship and exclusion of being unable to read a menu, road signs, legal documents-- let alone a book! LVBC trains volunteer tutors and matches them with students with a below average literacy rate. LVBC provides students and tutors with the materials they need to succeed and learn! LVBC can help students with both short term literacy goals and long term goals such as attaining a GED or citizenship
