Belmont World Film promotes cross-cultural understanding through the powerful universal language of film. Now entertaing its 11th year, the organization presents two annual programs, a weekly International Film Series in the spring and a weekend-long Family Film Festival in the fall, plus special events throughout the year. Both programs feature award-winning narrative films, documentaries, animation, and shorts from around the world enhanced by post-film discussions led by topical speakers--including filmmakers, actors, film critics, local experts, and diplomats--cultural performances, and ethnic cuisine.
Belmont World Film also partners with numerous nonprofit organizations from around the world to bring awareness to many international situations and causes.
