The Earth Education Project

The Earth Education Project (EEP) is a UK-registered charity working in Nicaragua, Central America. We provide women who have not had access to education or jobs with the opportunity to earn an income recycling paper and improve their education and social skills with our compulsory education programme. To date we rely on donations to fund our project but we aim to become self-funding through the sales of the products we teach them to make.

Last year we set up a label 'CHURECA CHIC' to promote and sell the products under.

In just 13 months of launching our label ‘CHURECA CHIC’, we have been twice to London Fashion Week, and for September 2014 we’re organizing a show with ECOLUXE London as part of the official calendar. We also increased our income to the charity from product sales by over 250%.
