Here is our Article II from the articles of organization filed w/ MA under Chapter 180 (not for profit corp).

The corporation is organized for educational, environmental and recreational purposes, to promote activities for increasing awareness of the community and family, promotion of social activities and events and in using those activities and events to raise funds for contributions to charitable organizations and causes.

The corporation may, as permitted by law, engage in any and all activities in furtherance of, related to or incidental to these purposes which may be lawfully carried out by a corporation formed under chapter 180 of the general laws of Massachusetts and which are not inconsistent with the corporation's potential qualification as an organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code or any corresponding section of any applicable tax regulations.
