The Iowa Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America (IPVA) is a non-profit Veterans service organization chartered by Congress and is one of 33 chapters which represents our national organization, Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA). Our membership is FREE and consists of Veterans of the United States Armed Forces who have suffered a spinal cord injury or received a diagnosis of disease affecting the spinal cord. Iowa Paralyzed Veterans of America (Iowa PVA) is committed to transparency, accountability, and respect for our donors. All contributions directly support programs that improve the quality of life for veterans with spinal cord injury or disease. Donations may be designated for a specific purpose or given without restriction to support our greatest needs. We honor all donor intent and provide written acknowledgment for each gift in compliance with IRS regulations.
Iowa PVA does not sell, rent, or share donor information with any third party. Personal information is collected only as needed to process donations and communicate with supporters. Donors may request anonymity, review or update their information, or opt out of communications at any time by contacting our office.

The Paralyzed Veterans of America- Iowa Chapter relies solely on donations and grants and receives no governmental funding. Additionally, the Iowa Chapter does not utilize telemarketing or direct mail solicitation of donated funds.
All donations made directly to the Paralyzed Veterans of America- Iowa Chapter supports local veterans and Iowa chapter members.
Your donations support both service-connected and non-service-connected disabled veterans.

All donor information stored by us is maintained in secure, access-controlled systems. We use industry-standard firewalls, password protection, and regular security monitoring to prevent unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration of donor data. Access to donor information is restricted to authorized personnel who require it to perform their job functions and are trained in maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of donor records.
