Farms for Life is dedicated to serving people in transition, supporting local farmers, and protecting agricultural lands. We give sustainably-grown produce from local farms to agencies housing people in transition. To encourage residents, primarily women and children, to eat our fresh, sometimes unfamiliar vegetables, we teach them simple ways to prepare them.Farms for Life is dedicated to serving people in transition, supporting local farmers, and protecting agricultural lands, the most sustainable way possible. We will achieve this by providing quality produce from local farms and nutritional education to people in transitional programs through the agencies that serve them. The majority of our recipients are women, children and youth.
