The Eagle Project explores American identity through performing arts and our Native American heritage.

On Wednesday, March 7th of 2012, the Eagle Project was officially launched at Playwrights Horizons with the staged reading of Wood Bones by William S. YellowRobe, Jr. It is the mission of Eagle Project to explore the American identity through performing arts and our Native American heritage.

The name is actually off of founder Ryan Victor Pierce's Lenape name, "Little Eagle". It is the goal of Eagle Project to use the performing arts to engage America in dialogue about what it consists of and what it stands for.
