Uplift In Color

Uplift In Color is a youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating and distributing coloring books and uplifting cards for children in hospitals, shelters, youth programs, and other care facilities. By repurposing used paper, we combine sustainability with service to provide opportunities for creativity, encouragement, and self-expression for children navigating difficult circumstances.

Founded by students, Uplift In Color was created on the belief that small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference. Our volunteers design coloring pages and handwritten cards that are compiled into custom coloring books and distributed to organizations serving children in our community.

A unique aspect of our work is our commitment to sustainability. We collect and upcycle paper that would otherwise be discarded, transforming it into resources that benefit both children and the environment.

Since launching, we have created and donated coloring books and cards to local organizations serving youth and families, including shelters and care facilities. Through volunteer engagement, community partnerships, and creative service projects, we strive to make encouragement more accessible to children while promoting environmental responsibility.

We welcome volunteers of all experience levels who are passionate about creativity, service, and making a positive impact in their communities.
