We Make the Future

We Make the Future (WMTF) was founded in 2021, and is built on the implementation work of Race Class Narrative Action with ASO Communications and Faith in Minnesota, rooted in Race Class Narrative research. 

WMTF is an implementation home for the Race Class Narrative (RCN) and other empirically based strategic messaging. Our goal is to build the messaging capacity of state, local, and national partners so they can make the case for a better future. By combining empirically based messaging and coalition building we develop and implement shared narratives that motivate our base and persuade the middle. 

In collaboration with partners, we do this by:

• Facilitating workshops and other learning engagements for partners at the local and national level
• Developing messaging guides, digital toolkits, and other narrative resources
• Creating content (illustrations, ads, etc..) that demonstrates an effective narrative
• Collaborating on new research and sharing current research findings to aid groups in their campaign goals
