  • Acerca de

The Chintimini Wildlife Center is home to a wildlife rehabilitation clinic, a Raptor Ambassador program and a youth education program – all located right outside Corvallis, Oregon.

The wildlife rehabilitation clinic admits injured and orphaned native wildlife 7 days per week and 365 days per year and provides care for over 1700 animals per year. The goal with all cases is to return wildlife back to their natural environment. Over 120 volunteers donate over 10,000 hours per year to run the clinic. It receives thousands of calls on its wildlife emergency hotline and provides consultation and education to help the public humanely resolve wildlife conflicts.

The Raptor Education Program focuses on issues surrounding raptor species. With over a dozen raptor ambassadors representing many species found in North America, the goal of the Raptor Education Program is is to share the stories of our Raptor Ambassadors and educate the community on their species and the threats they face today in the wild through public outreach. Our programs include on and off-site live bird of prey talks and demonstrations.

The Wildlife Education Center offers day camps, spring break camps and summer camps to children 6 years and older. The primary objective is to provide opportunities for children to connect with nature through hand-on, place-based experiential learning by immersing campers in the richness of wildlife.
