Faith in Action of Vermilion County

Faith in Action serves with a neighbors helping neighbors approach, helping seniors to maintain dignity and independence. Our organization focuses on health and safety of seniors. Faith in Action volunteers provide transportation to medical appointments or to run errands, home visiting, phone visiting, and minor chores or home repairs. Volunteering is very flexible and is possible with almost any schedule.

Faith in Action has a team of volunteer wheelchair ramp builders, and a team of volunteer nurses who perform preventative health screenings for seniors in the community. Also, many of our volunteer serve in our office, compassionately caring for the seniors who drop in or call.
