Our Mission is to provide essential resources that empower Mothers to advance their musical careers by creating a shared network, generating opportunities, and offering financial and emotional support initiatives.

Mamas In Music is committed to challenge the status quo as we advocate for equal opportunities for Mothers in an industry that historically under-values and under-represents their efforts, contributions, and abilities.

Mamas in Music is a global nonprofit community supporting mothers and caregivers working across the music industry — from artists and producers to executives, composers, and entrepreneurs.

We were founded in 2019 out of a shared experience: navigating careers in music while raising children, often without the structural support needed to sustain both. What began as a small circle of connection has grown into an international network of over 500 members.

Our work centers on building community, visibility, and access. We host events, panels, and meetups around the world, facilitate creative and professional opportunities, and provide resources that support both career development and wellbeing. At the core, we are a volunteer-led, collective-driven organization — shaped by the real, lived experiences of the people within it.

We serve mothers and caregivers at all stages of their careers, and we actively welcome allies who want to be part of creating a more equitable and sustainable music industry.
