Tennesseans for Fair Taxation

Tennesseans for Fair Taxation (TFT) works to create a more fair and progressive tax system that invests our state, our community, and our people for the benefit of all. TFT works through coalition building, local organizing, and grassroots education to affect change.

Over the years, TFT has built a broad, multi- constituent coalition with over 30 member organizations and hundreds of individual members committed to economic justice and adequate funding of important community services.

Through effective media, direct action, grassroots lobbying, and popular education efforts, this coalition has brought the state to the brink of progressive tax reform, and in the process, stood up to the right-wing extremist who seek to de-fund education, health care, and other public services.
