Action Lab For Development

At Action lab for development, we focus on providing education, food security and advocacy to advance the work of entrepreneurs and promote creative economies in Cameroon.

Adhering to a mission of providing education, food security and advocacy to advance the work of entrepreneurs and promote creative economies in Cameroon, Action Lab for Development (ACTLAB) envisions a future where local innovators in Cameroon have access to lead through growth and development. At Action Lab, we maintain five objectives including:

To support local initiatives oriented to creative innovation and entrepreneurship by providing tools and opportunities that track continuous improvement.

1. To facilitate knowledge-sharing between entrepreneurs, institutions, and other partners by enabling networking and training activities.
2. To train entrepreneurs in social welfare and fair business practices.
3. To mentor young entrepreneurs on skills and techniques that can grant a more clear view of social and business ecosystems.
4. To promote skills-based volunteering among the youth and universal access to research and education by building digital platforms for community knowledge commons and supporting local ingenuity.

First founded in 2016, ACTLAB is organization with Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council since 2020. This status is indicative of our contribution to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Our key focuses areas as far as solutions are concerned are, Food Security, Advocacy and Education
