HONK NYC! Festival

HONK NYC! is a multi-day festival of brass and percussion ensembles in New York City. The baby-sister/after-party to the Boston-area HONK! Festival of Activist Street Bands, HONK NYC! receives touring artists from Boston in NYC post-HONK! and presents them to NYC audiences in various settings: public parks, sidewalk parades, ferry and subway rides, concert halls, museums, galleries, loft parties. It is HONK NYC!'s intention to introduce touring acts from HONK! to NYC audiences, artists and activists, and NYC-based musicians playing in the same genre.
