ST FRANCIS WILDLIFE SANCTUARY INC
PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ
Misión
We are a 501(C)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rehabilitating injured, orphaned and abandoned native NJ wildlife with the aim of returning them back to their home in the wild. We educate the public on the importance of living peacefully with our wild brethren and we conduct research on how best to treat wild animals without inducing stress.
We provide shelter, food, medicine, physical therapy and enrichment to any and all mammalian, amphibian or reptilian NJ native patients who come through our doors. We provide this care without governmental funding of any kind. Any and all funding comes directly from donations, either monetary or in-kind. We cannot survive without these generous donations and we cannot survive without selfless individuals who volunteer their time freely at our facility.
Acerca de
Wildlife, especially injured wildlife, need care 365 days of the year. In order to keep from experiencing compassion fatigue it is imperative that the work is shared among a group of dedicated volunteers who are open to learning the ways of wildlife rehabilitation. We are also developing educational programs for scouts, schools and other groups and research projects to help take better care of our wildlife patients. We also need people who can build structures so that we can maintain our current caging and build additional caging.
