Organización sin fin de lucro
Canine Guardians Assistance Dogs
Misión
What We Do: We train service dogs to help wounded veterans, veterans with PTSD, people with physical disabilities, children with cancer, diabetics and children with reading difficulties. Who We Are: It takes two years to train a service dog starting at the age of three days old. When the puppy is about eight weeks old it will leave our facility and live with Puppy Parents for about a year. During this time the Puppy Parent will socialize the dog by taking it out in public everywhere they go and is required to attend biweekly training classes. After being with a Puppy Parent for a year the puppy will come back to us for intense training before being placed with it's partner.
