Volunteer Action for disabled (VAFOD) is a grassroots not for profit organization situated in Uganda, with the aim of co-coordinating volunteer services that can have a positive impact on the lives of people with Disabilities PWDs in Uganda . VAFOD was established in 2008 by a group of Disabled persons, who are committed to advocate and uplift the well being of peoples with Disabilities in Uganda (PWDs). It was against this back ground that the members decided to institutionalize it into an organization.
