The mission of Social Rise is to empower community members from low-income/at-risk backgrounds to learn social media tools and apply these tools to build networks, access information, and create new opportunities. In addition, Social Rise attempts to support advocacy for digital equity by creating awareness of campaigns, events and stories around bridging the digital divide.
