First 1000 Days, Healthy Babies, Bright Futures is a platform for new initiatives and programs to reduce babies’ and their mothers’ exposures to neurotoxic chemicals in the first 1000 days of development (from conception to age 2). First 1000 Days will:
§ Design projects that will result in measurable reductions in babies’ exposures to neurotoxic chemicals in the first 1000 days;
§ Demonstrate the economic and financial benefits of reducing babies’ exposures to harmful chemicals;
§ Apply emerging science and technology to accelerate real-world results.
