PENCIL ( Public Education Needs Community Involvement and Leadership) links community resources with Nashville Public Schools to help young people achieve academic success and prepare for life.
Acerca de
PENCIL is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1982 by Nashville business and community leaders who recognized the need for community involvement in public education. PENCIL's board, volunteers, and staff have a long history of serving students and staff in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools through school-community partnership programs, school-to-career learning opportunities, and educational support.
