Art Resource Collaborative for Kids

Overview:

ARCK is a 501(c)(3) an innovative education non-profit dedicated to strengthening arts education in under-resourced public schools. Through our unique teaching model and deep collaboration with schools, we use the arts to advance the creative thinking and social skills that are crucial to students' future success. Arts education impacts the trajectory of students’ lives. When students lack access to arts education, they experience worse outcomes in their social-emotional development, have worse attendance records, are less likely to graduate from high school, are less likely to attend college, less likely to develop neural connections linked to academic success, and are even less likely to vote. ARCK works to bring arts education to students of all backgrounds and circumstances, advancing educational equity in our public schools and setting students up for bright futures.
