Welcome to Habitat for Humanity of the NC Sandhills! At Habitat, we believe everyone deserves a safe, decent and affordable home. Our goal is to work together to build those homes and help families succeed in their homeownership journey. We build so children have a secure place to study for school, and we build so hardworking parents can dream even bigger dreams. We build for those in our community who make it a great place to live, and we invite you to join us! We are proud to serve as a leader in affordable housing and lending in the Sandhills, providing a hand up...not a handout. Habitat for Humanity of the NC Sandhills is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization, founded on Christian principles with a vision to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing in the Sandhills. Since 1988, this affiliate has served over 300 families in Moore and Richmond Counties through home construction and repairs. As an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, our work extends internationally to Zambia and Haiti. As a volunteer-led organization, we rely on your feedback and guidance to serve as the best partner we can be to the community. We hope you will join us in this mission.
