WaterAid is the #1 international nonprofit exclusively focused on bringing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene education (WASH) to the children and families who need it most. Our global WASH programs, led and maintained by the communities where we work, aren’t a quick fix. We strive for long-term access to WASH that truly transforms people’s lives.

WaterAid brings 30+ years of expertise to communities that need the 'know-how' and simple, low-cost equipment to set-up, operate and maintain their water and sanitation systems for the long-term. Our projects aim to significantly improve the health of communities and contribute to far-reaching impacts, such as reducing poverty, increasing access to education, and improving the status of women and children.
