Refugee Services is the lead refugee resettlement agency for the government of New Zealand. Through our 4-tiered support system which includes professionally trained Social Workers, culturally competent Cross-Cultural Workers, refugee background Caseworkers and trained Volunteer Support Workers, we focus on empowering refugees toward independence by supporting them to build on their existing strengths, enabling them to become fully contributing members of their new country.

We supports clients through Pathways, our Comprehensive Resettlement Plan, which guides refugees through the initial stages of resettlement and onward into their settlement journeys. By focusing on the hopes and dreams of each individual, Pathways helps clients set goals and celebrate their progress and achievements on their Pathways to Settlement and Pathways to Employment.
