Misión
To provide practical, integrative literacy services to readers at risk readers, families, and educators. Reading is a public commodity, no one should have to pay extra to become a literate member of society.

The Reading Tub is a 100% volunteer nonprofit dedicated to helping families create strong readers and getting kids excited about books and reading.
- We collect and distribute books to at-risk readers, whether it is a child with no books at home or a teacher building a classroom library for her struggling students.
- We read lots of books and post reviews on our website. Our model includes the audience, so you know what a kid like yours thinks about the book.
- We write about literacy and ways to incorporate literacy into everyday activities.
- We help parents decipher educational jargon and make sense of literacy concepts in a way that’s meaningful to them.
