{{{The Foundation for Mother and Child Health (FMCH) is an NGO that manages a variety of projects through their sister organisations in India and Indonesia; Bal Sehat Kendra and Yayasan Balita Sehat (YBS) respectively. FMCH aims to eliminate malnutrition and the causes of poverty within communities, to improve the health and nutrition status of mothers and their children, and to improve the health education and earning power of mothers.
YBS began as a support group for Anglophone mothers and evolved into an organisation that supports and educates Indonesian mothers and children in Jakarta. Since 2008, YBS’ program has expanded to West Timor. YBS offers feeding programs to the undernourished, income-generating skills training to women, pre-school education and scholarships, and health education in the form of cooking classes and health lessons.}}}
